What does a Selfmade Creative do?

Create! I like this term because there is truly no definitive answer or limit to what a creative can do. I personally create inspired by my own experiences. I share a digital diary that captures a wide range of moments that include the ups & downs of all things life & motherhood, all while hoping to encourage & inspire along the way!

I get to share the special experiences & opportunities I get with my daughter.

What motivates / inspires you?

My daughter. Also, being surrounded by good company who continues to believe in me & push me to my limits. Slowly but surely I am working on building myself & my confidence to do what it is that I'm meant to do.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of recognizing my worth. I've overcome a really low point of my life & have since come out of that darkness stronger & better than before. And most importantly, I am most proud of being a mom & getting to be a part of building up one of the best little human beings ever.

What was your first dream job?

I loved watching the Olympics growing up, so it was either to be a gymnast or an ice skater!

What other path would you have taken if not this one?

Well, before I made the leap into being a creative full-time, I was working as an x-ray tech! So I guess I would still be working in the hospital, and likely being a creative on the side... which was how this all began?!
