Hey! I'm Britt. I'm a Native Hawaiian / Asian maker from Maui, but I now reside in Oahu. I love tea, tea culture, and sharing Hawaii grown teas with other people. I have a tea & wellness store in Kaimuki where I get to share my favorite products with people.

I drink the best teas from all over the world and share it with others. I also educate people about the Hawaii Grown tea industry.

What motivates / inspires you?

I'm so inspired by our farmers. They grow the crops and I'm just get to formulate what's available. It forces us to be creative.

What are you most proud of?

Our tea brand Treehouse Teas, is 100% grown, manufactured, and distributed in Hawaii. Because of the way we operate over 95% of our total cost of goods stays in Hawaii's economy. It's not without its issues, but we are very proud to support farmers directly, with out dollars.

What was your first dream job?

My first dream job was to be a tea sommelier, so in 2014 I got certified. Out of grad school I applied at the Kahala Hotel to be the tea room manager... and since I was already a tea sommelier they hired me to be one. Just a happy happenstance I guess.
